Futurama 50th Anniversary Golf tournament

24 players attended; clients, suppliers & Futurama staff, on what was one of the hottest days of the year so far. Everyone was greeted by Gary Needham and Michelle Stephens who did a great job looking after the players and also in supporting Keith Edwards who organised the event and all the competitions throughout the day.

Presentations took place in the Barnes Wallis Suite (the actual room in which Barnes Wallis developed the legendary Bouncing Bomb!). A well deserved dinner was then followed by a few more drinks on the patio overlooking the picturesque 18th Hole.

Congratulations to Neil Havenhand (Bedford & Havenhand) who won the Futurama Individual Stableford Cup and a Weekend for 2 in Paris; and to Alan Arthur & Wayne Darch who came 2nd & 3rd respectively.

The Team prize was scooped up by Neil Havenhand, John Jones (Miles Smith) & Terry Elrick (Futurama) who won a trip in a helicopter.

The golf course, playing partners, club house, catering and staff were all excellent and the atmosphere could not have been better…
